I got off work late this afternoon and decided to run down to Oceanside Harbor for a couple of hours fishing. I've been learning alot from this board about plastics and scented oils so I thought I would put into play some things that looked good.

I bought a bottle of Pro-Cure Anchovie Oil and some different colored Artificiable brand swimbaits from Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle in Oceanside and headed down to the north basin by the Yatch Club.

Third cast yielded an 18" Spotted Bay Bass! Beautiful fish. About a half hour later right in front of the Yatch club I nailed a legal Flattie on a red and gold swimbait. The spottie was caught on a 3" Chovie colored one. I'm sold on the Pro-Cure as my buddy who was fishing beside me didn't even get a strike without it.

Going back out Saturday. :)
