I've been down with with some nagging bacterial infections lately (strep throat) and I'm just now getting myself back together. Purchased a new Shimano Stradic 4000 spinner and went down to the Harbor for her charter baptism. Fished fron 5:00 TO 8:OO with swimbaits and grubs and shook hands with Mr. Skunko! Hooked into something on a 2" curly tail black silver flake grub but what ever it was powered free.

At any rate, sure felt good to fish again after not being out for two weeks. I hope today's non action doesn't give my new spinner a complex! :7

I'm going to try the surf saturday night.
