Clay,
If you turn south at the Oceano ramp (you can drive on the beach) go until you see a 15 MPH sign on the side away from the water. It has a small orange sign under it that has a #1 on it. About 100 yds. past that is where my buddy and I always fish and seem to always do good.
If you drive on the beach, stay on the hard packed sand down by the water. It gets REAL expensive to get towed out of the sand if you get stuck!
