#8536, "Huntington Harbor 12/23"
|
I fished Huntington harbor today in a tandem kayak with a buddy. I guided him through the usual spots, and we drifted the main channel from dawn to about 2:00 PM. It was a beautiful sunrise, and a decent day of fishing that included a mixed bag of spotties, sand bass, halibut, and a diamond turbot. Highlight of the day: my friend nailed a 3" sand bass on a 4" plastic. Cute little fish, he must have been hungry! I was laughing too hard to take a picture. :)
All fish were caught with small plastics and were released unharmed.

Daniel
