Well I talked my buddy into taking out the Whaler. We sat about half way b/t the jetty and Balboa pier several hundred yards out, we drifted from about 75 to 30 feet of water with some chovies. Between 3 of us we caught 16 butts (one legal), 3 Sandies and 2 white fish (didn't know what they were).. Alot of fun for about 5 hours of fishing... Can't wait for the weather to warm up!
