the calico bite at catalina is goin great right now! I am a deck hand on the pursuit out of 22nd street landing in san pedro. I hadn't fished for so long, I thought I'd see if i still had it. so I went up to the bow with my bass setup. I had a yellow cotee lead head with a strip of squid all bunched up on the hook. the fish picked it up on the fall every cast!!! I released about 40 and kept 5 for the table. it was great!
