#10767, "About Halibut"

I have a couple of questions about Halibut. First, if they swallow a chovy and get hooked in the tip of thier stomach/intestines and you get the hook out, will they be ok? Are they ok if you leave it there? (not that Ive ever left a hook there). Also, a couple times now I've had BIG Halibut strikes, counted to ten, took in line real slowly and not felt anything there. I know they tend to adjust their meal in their mouths beofre swallowing, but what else could possibly account for this??
