My buddy and I braved the huge waves for some surf fishing at La Conchita. Several other guys had the same idea, we saw about 4 others fishing the stretch of beach.

The waves were HUGE. I don't know exactly how high but when we were knee-deep in water, the waves came crashing in and looked about twice as tall as us. It was hard to get your grub out to the prime location, but we managed half a dozen fish up to 11".

Fishing should be better when the waves settle down a little.
