Fished on Wednesday the 4th at Ledbetter beach before my class at CC. Had about 30 min and i came up with 3 nich perch in the 8 inch range, not bad when you've got some time to kill.

Also I went out Friday the 6th at Goleta beach for some late evening perching action. The bite went wide open as the sun went down but the fish weren't eating it, just pecking. I must have been getting 3 or 4 bites a cast for about a 10 minute time span but then it just shut off. Only managed 5 perch with the best one going 10 inches. It was pretty good for only being there for 30 minutes or so.

All of the fish were caught on Motor Oil Red and Motor Oil Green and Gold Big Hammer perch grubs.
