#1379, "Sharp teeth in Santa Barbara"

I fished the harbor entrance from 4:30 - 7:30
Incoming tide was moving fast The sand bar is now extended out to the white bouy. It makes for a killer drop off. It holds a lot of fish with good current. I did not land anything on the 3.5" FT's. Fished the rainbow WK as well and I got lots of hits.
About 10-15 solid strikes but I just couldn't seal the deal.
Fished 1/2 ounce red lead heads sharp as hell too. Two of the wk tails were bit right off....clean And several chew marks all day. Whats up? Any help out there.

I also fished a dropper anchovie and that produced 1 smelt and one 10" croaker. This is bad but I rigged the croaker up on a trap rig and fished him for an hour with nothing. I was in at least 18 feet of water....nothing

A harbor seal surfaced right above my live bait and looked at me
That was exciting
