#2110, "Water Temps"

Hey guys,

Went out for a quick dive last night, get this, metered 66.7 degree water off Campus Point!! the water was spotty, but found some crystal clear stuff here and there. No fish to speak of though.

The kelp is GIGANTIC from just past Hendreys all the way up to Goleta Pier, Like I remember it from many years ago. Very Healthy! Great to see all this good stuff.

Also I have been seeing Johnny bass and sugar rockfish on every dive, both young (2-5 inches) and bigger ones 1+ lbs. It has been a long while since I have seen these guys. Remember when the one mile was PLAGUED by Johnnys? Had to weed through 5 J-bass to get one calico....
