It has been so flat that we have to get some swell soon! I have never surffished as much as I have this summer since the ocean is like a lake. I may try spearfishing for halibut outside of the surfline at Gravels, but I only have a hawaiian sling (not a gun). I went out a few times last year when it was clear and only saw a few shorts and 1 which was close to legal(but too small)...some decent sized bat ray's though at "heroins"...would be fun to drop a line there!
