Float tubed the sandbar area near the Santa Barbara Harbor. I got four halibut with one legal on the 3" Mackerel colored Big Hammer by throwing it right up on the beach around the front of the sandbar and bringing it out to the ledge. I tried deeper water with the larger swimbaits and all over with the crankbaits but it seemed like all they wanted was that tiny bait. Tried for seabass at dusk and after sunset. Got one temporary hookup near the receiver on the fastrac - might have been a seabass but with the low tide it could've also easily been a halibut.
