Me and a friend fished around Grissom Island in Long Beach last night. The action was slow but consistent. I mean, consistently slow. You get the picture. I got about 8 or 9 fish on grubs on a leadhead and 7" worms texas rigged. Biggest fish was only about 1 1/2 pound spotty caught on the worm. That’s not counting the 24" stingray I snagged and the big bass that broke me off in the rocks. The weather was perfect and no red-tide. Better luck next time I guess.
Tight lines,
Terry G.
P.S. I met Roger out on the water who was fishing from his v-tube. He seemed like good people. Nice to meet you Roger. See you out there again soon.
