Well having a few hours to kill this morning me and my brother Scott decided go surf fishing at La Conchita and allow him to try out his new chest waders I got him for Christmas, initially it was dead, but as we worked our way into the corner at the end of the beach we got into a staedy pick of barred surfperch and yellowfin croakers, we fished from 11:00am to 2:00pm for 16 perch to 3/4lb and 6 yellowfin to 2lbs(almost as fun as corbina!)all fish were caught on 11/2in and 21/2in motoroil/redflake grubs smeared with calico cocktail, and 4lb line seemed to get bit better than the 6lb. All fish released...Larry
