#9596, "Manhattan Bch 4-26"

Fished Manhattan Bch (1st-10th St) this past Saturday morning. Fished from 6:30 - 8:30am. Once again the high tide was making the waves crash down hard near the shoreline. It seems to me that this wave action spooks the fish. Used 1.5" perch power grubs and managed three small perch. I also used these red octopus hooks for the first time. Has anybody tried these with any luck?

As usual, the fish caught and released were only 4-6 inches AT BEST. Has anybody been catching anything larger in the south bay area?

Kman
