we went out on the 14th (3 of us on a private boat) and we nailed full limits of wsb to 20 pounds and 6 yellows to 22 pounds. We hit them at china (catalina).

Ive been hearing that the full moon disrupts the squid migration, and therefore ruins the fishing...sure didnt show it. The wsb were slight pickings today for most, but the yellows were pretty wide in china.

The squid had spawned on the bottom and whenever we brought up our rigs you would hook a few squid sacs. Pretty trippy.
