Well, I can't say anything bad about Gammies. I lost very few fish with those hooks and most were fish that hit right at the boat. They do have a tendeny to dull quickly and can bend out if you really nail 'em on the hook set.

The hooks that i've been using recently are the Owners though. I was just experimenting when I put them on one of my 9" Slammers and now I like them better than Gammies. As rob Said, they are a little heavier, but I have had no problems with hook-ups due to the thicker wire. My advice would be to get both and see what looks better on the bait to you. For me, I just happen to like the qualities of the Owner hooks and they've been performing great.
