My dad and I are going to be heading out to fish the upper lake this Saturday night. Ive never fished there at night before and would appreciate any and all advice.

Im going to be targetting mainly bigger fish with swimbaits and big plugs as well as jigs/worms etc. I havent been to the lake since last summer so I really dont know what to expect in terms of water level/clarity and shoreline cover.

Also, just out of curiosity (since ive never really fished for big stripers), are the techniques for big stripers mainly the same as for big bass (in terms of swimbaits) or would I need to target different depths/types of structure?

Any help at all, whether it be specific spots to try, specific baits, depths, types of structure etc etc would be greatly appreciated.
