The tail kicks on the Hudd '0' with the slightest movement, even if your not retrieving and there is a breeze or any ripple on the surface, your bait will move while being 'deadsticked' on top. My few bites with the bait have come just barely creeping it on top on very calm mornings, I have thrown it on windy afternoons too with no luck.
The BBZ has much more action on the retrieve, it moves allot of water and throws a decent wake, plus it has a pretty loud clack with the large rattle inside. I change my hooks out sometimes and it runs right under the surface. I got one fish with my bait just sitting on the surface motionless, only a few swipes and swirls on the retrieve.
I honestly would get both if you can afford it, they are two very different baits but are worth it IMHO.
