Actually I had a very successful time this weekend on the delta throwing a 1/2 oz jig/pig. On Sat took 1st place and big fish at the Tracy Oasis tournamnet and Sun caught 2 5lbers fishing with Cooch. Throwing cranks and spinnerbaits yeilded only 2 fish which made me believe that the bass weren't interested in chasing down a meal. Instead they wanted a nice big bulky bait that was an easy target to fatten up for winter.

And on a side note, Cooch had a guide trip on Sat and caught a 10, 9 and 6lber. The key was to start fishing a late fall/winter pattern for finding fish. Once you find one there are usually a number of fish schooled up in the same area within about 50-70 yds.

When I get some time tonight I'll post a detailed report from sat and sun with pics in the Freshwater section.
