I live in So Cal so I fish a lot of clear water. 90% or so of my fish have come from Casitas, Castaic, and Perris. When I was fishing tournaments full time travelling back in Texas, I would get bit well on the Stocker Trout in lakes that had 1 - 3 feet of visibility like Rayburn and Conroe. The advantage with the Stocker Trout over the other rubber swimbaits is the fact that it displaces a lot of water which bass can sense with their lateral line. If I can get bit at night on the Stocker trout, you should get bit in off colored water.
