Rob:

Two questions for you...

1) Why do you like to rig your stinger with coated wire as compared to braid? Is it because it is easier to space the stinger hook due the crimps or is there any other benefits you find? The advantage I see with braid as the connection is that it might give a bait more flexibility and braid is low vis which may or may not make any difference to the fish...it might in clear water during the day versus night? I find that with braid that spacing is difficult and you can end up with too much or not enough slack between the hooks until you end up getting it right. What size wire are you using?

2) I see that you are rigging with two of the same sized hooks. Why do you favor this over say a one size smaller hook as the stinger hook? Do you think that the bait would swim better and be more appealing with a smaller hook as the stinger than a larger one or does this possibly cost you fish after they bite with a smaller hook as a stinger? Thanks Rob, I value your insight on this as always amigo.

Dave
