I went to a favorite lake in pre-frontal conditions and totally blanked. Then last night I went to a group of small ponds with a freind and once we found the fish we did pretty well considering that it was COLD clear and basically your textbook post-frontal shouldn't be able to buy a bite type conditions. I got 1 that pulled the scale to 3.5# on a jig which is pretty good for these ponds and I farmed another on the jig that splashed on the surface so I flipped to it and it hit about 1" into the initial drop. When I set my rod hit a tree limb and I couldn't do much to get a better set or bring in the fish other than crank on it. She made 3 jumps and out came the jig. I'd guess her at around 2.5# but then I thought the 3.5 would go 4. I missed atleast 3 other bites and my freind got 2 1-1.5# and missed 2 or 3 other hits all on PowerCraws in the Junebug color. Not bad for 10 til 12:30. We alo saw a lot of surface activity but I couldn't get anything to eat a topwater. Tight lines, Wade
