I can definatley say that you are mistaken! I dont really fish scets very often but there are 2 times when I think they can help a great deal and have boosted my catch rates. 1 when shad are present I spray bang shad on all my lures! 2. Night fishing worms I use this scent they sell on ebay (forgot the name) both have really helped especially at night.
