I was lucky to spend a couple of days in Zimbabwe. i'll let the photo's do the talking. What a trip. We got alot of fish between 6 and 9 pounds on big jigs fished in 14ft trees. I was also lucky enought to meet a guide, who had MR. Alton jones on his boat about a month before. Both Alton and his son got there personal best out of this lake. And he booked the whole lodge for a week to bring his sponsors out. Alton said it's the best fishing he ever had. In the spawn (July - August) the worst day's fishing was 60 fish a day. With a average of 5 pounds. Justin Booth (the guide) got 12 fish in 5 days over 11 pounds. If you're planning a trip to Zimbabwe, Mteri is a must!!!!
