It looks like Ken, Rob and Keldawg covered the tackle pretty good. I concur with their thinking, and like Ken I like to rig 'em texposed. I think spinning gear would be fine, although I prefer baitcasting. As far as working them, there are many ways. One way I found to be effective is to throw it out, let it sink to the bottom and then give it a sharp jerk every 30 seconds or so and let it sink back down. This takes alot of patience. It took me awhile to realize that just because you're not moving your rod constantly doesn't mean that you're not fishing. This method almost feels like you're fishing with bait because you're not really doing much, but I found it to be highly effective. Just remember- Senkos+patience= Big fishies hehe.-Phil
