#13187, "Osprey Swimbaits"

O.K. I'm turning to the pro's here. Is the Osprey a good investment for a swimbait "beginner"? I'm looking at the 9" model. I know they catch fish, but is it like other baits that I'll have to replace after 1 or 2 big hits? I'll be throwing it on a Shimano Cardiff 301 with a 7'6" 1 piece heavy rod w/25 lb big game. It's the only rod I can come up with right now. Does this sound like a good start. I just can't afford those $30 slammers right now. The Osprey is on sale for $11.99. I don't know what colors they have, but for the price I figured I couldn't go wrong?! Thanks for any input.
