Its very simple. We voted on it. Its kind of like why can't some one drive and drop off there tube at any given spot at clear lake before the blast off? We as a club voted on it. Why can't we use electric trolling motors? Why can't we use a 21' Ranger bass boat? I have no problem with plontooners using Oars at any lake. I don't need them.
I personally would love to watch alot of guys oaring to greener grass all day long while I fish. Maybe there should be another vote at one of the club meetings. We should also vote for trolling motors too.
I think that at the time of the original vote there where a few more tubers who couldn't use oars. This seemed to make it a more of an even playing feild I guess. Remember, this is a float tube club, nothing else. Kick boats are somewhat concidered float tubes unlike any other style of boat. Maybe some should start a aluminum boat or sail boat bass club, LOL That would be fun.
Love Rich:-)

Fish fear round tubers and Bass Tech kickboats!!
