I know everyone who fished White's tourney saw or had the coal miner dust blow on them and made them look as if they were mining instead of fishing. After weigh-in I put my rods in my truck and I could see that they were covered in that crap. When I unloaded my stuff I hosed off my rods and reels and set them in the garage. This past weekend I ended up spending five hours disassembling six reels to remove all that crudd. Levelwind area seemed to be the area with the most amount of dust/crudd.Not sure what this dust was from? I'm thinking it may have been a mixture of ash/dirt blowing off one of the fields that was recently burned off of corn stocks etc. Nasty stuff!
