Well, here she is: my personal best, at 8.4 lbs.

Caught, as previously reported, on a 6-inch 'Aaron's Magic' Roboworm, Texas-rigged on an 8-lb-test brass-n-glass setup, with an 1/8-oz. weight. She was hanging out at the fading end of a weedbed in about 4-5 feet of water, a little south, but almost directly across from the launch ramp, at Coyote Reservoir in Gilroy (the lake where Nico caught his 12.6 last spring).
It was my only bite of the day, but I'LL TAKE IT!!!! Ain't it great that just ONE FISH in a day can make the whole trip worthwhile??!! Gotta love it!
'Course now, I've still gotta get to that double-digit mark to REALLY feel I've arrived! Rest assured, I'm gonna get my picture on Fish Chris' "Trophy Bass Only" site *ONE* of these days!
