just wanted to hear who people think is the #1 pro bassfisherman ever and why? I know there is a lot of veteran pros and newbee's that are unbelieveable and anyone fishing at the level of "National Pro" is awesome.


I would say my pick would have to be Rick Clunn he has made over $2 million on the trail and has over 100 top 10 finishes not to mention he has been to the Classic 20+ times. I remember back a few years ago he won 2 in a row one in Florida flippin then traveled to one of the great lakes and won throwing blades on shelves for smallies. He has to be the most versatile fisherman I have seen.Not to mention he is still running strong winning another megabucks event last year (maybe the year before) He is my pick for those reasons and also my life long fishing idol.
