and all through the house,
not creature was stirring... except for tuberdude
fresh leaders were tied and stashed with care
dreaming of the Smith, he'd soon be there

corkies & spin-n-glows stuffed into a box
you never can have too much when you keep finding those rocks
all the tackle was packed but he couldn't get to bed
visions of 20 lb steelies were going through his head

When out of his house there came such a clatter
a neighbor dropped by to see what's the matter
"I'm off to the Smith!" he said with a grin
as he packed his camp cookware in a plastic bin

So keep your hooks sharp and keep your line tight
