Your linked page had a side-panel story of an amateur who fell into the water at weigh-in, losing 2 fish that might've weighed 6-8 lbs. That's sure a bummer, although I can certainly relate! :+

Too bad we can't get more of that kind of coverage at these tournaments. Obviously, there's so much more going on at these events than what you'll ever know from reading the reports!

Looking forward to seeing some of the boys up there on Saturday. Do any of you know what the field gets cut down to on Sat.? Isn't it something like 50 or 60? I suppose that means I won't be seeing some of the big-name guys I was hoping to see (like maybe Denny Brauer, who's sitting at *87th* after Day 1).
