I decided to stay in town for the 4th instead of going to Tahoe.
So on Thursday I hiked up to Alsanjo and was on the water by 6am. I had the lake all to myself all day and I stoped counting the fish I caught some where around 18. The bigest fish weighed 3.11 and I was surprised to catch several just over 3 pounds. I nailed them on my fly rod using streamers and popers. I did a little more dropshotting and was surprised with one of my 3 pounders slaming it. Listened to the Giants game and enjoyed the sunshine.
