#23807, "Richs report for invitational"

I had a blast. I prefished several area's Friday while the sun shinned and the winds stayed calm. I had fish hitting in all areas and I knew that a lot of tubers where going to be catching fish this weekend. Day # 1 was good as I had a small limit early and switched into bigfish mode. Well, sorry to say that the big fish mode flopped. I came in with a little limit of 13.5" fish for 7 pounds some thing. I still had fun in the ol round tube and I never missed any large fish as they never came close to my baits. I think maybe big fish do really fear round tubes.

Day # 2 started off cold and drizzly with some wind blowing. My morning spots where being slammed with waves. I caught nothing at all in the cold windy spots I fished in the morning. I went south and found some fish. These fish had to be related to the fish I caught on Saturday as they all where 13.5" with one getting in at 13.25". Once again I never hooked onto any large fish so needless to say no toads got away from me. I ended up in 22nd place and some how Im OK with that as I enjoyed my three days on Clear Lake as much as ever. It was great to see all the B-N-T faces and the Rasta dudes and dudet. Im looking forward to the next Charity tournament at Spring Lake next month.

P.S. Thanks again to the many of sponcers that came through for our raffle.
