Hey Jake,Rivers end has a big 5mph zone(the 1st part is real narrow with houses/docks on either side).Then it opens up with a lot of current due to the pumps that catch all the hyacinth.I wouldn't kickboat around the wall where that is but you can go around the island and fish up into old river.I think that is pretty much a 5 zone as well.Also chipmonk cove:7 (from a previous post) is right before the wall starts.If you want to fish it it might be a good idea to do it from a boat 1st so you can see what is up.I would gladdly take ya any time. :)
Rivers end is just that, a dead end slough and at times will hold some good fish.(sring and fall)The marina is at the very end and can be a freakin zoo sometimes cause it's the closest launch to our area.You can also go out of tracy oasis or launch at fincke rd and tracy blvd by the bridge.Just watch how you park so as not to block the gate.
