I was about your age fishing a tournie in Arizona at Lake Pleasent and my boater and I flooded his 18' Skeeter and it sank into 25' of water.I lost everything except what I had in my pocket.It took years to rebuild my arsenol.
Dont let that keep you from fishing with us I am sure everyone would give you something.You will be supprised how much stuff you use to have that you never needed.
