Well I got a little bit later start than I wanted to this afternoon and wasn't in the search and conquer mood. I settle on launching off Cal-Pack Rd. Got on the water ~2:00 and was hoping to fish until dark. I would have if my feet and hands hadn't gone completely numb. I was down to the last, last, last, last cast when I pulled a 17" BB on a spinnerbait up tight to the tullies. I casted near, in, on, or around that spot on the previous five casts but finally landed it on his head I guess. Needless to say I kept fishing for another 45 minutes or so with no other takers.

I think this will be it for a little while in float tube until the water warms up. Nothing on jigs of all color and trailer combinations, worms, or rip baits. Peaceful evening except for the dog barking at the PG&E guys working on the power lines.

Next fishing expedition will be looking through a hole in the ice. Heading back to Minnesoooota for the holidays.

Thanks for the help guys. The Paradise Cut I was refering to was the one near Tracy.

Happy Holidays!
