Congrats to Scott on 2nd and Taylor for awesome year

I would like to say that I have had a great time this year. Two years ago I only had dreams of tournament bass fishing , without the heavy investment in a big boat I didn't think it was possible. Scott Rouhier Introduced me to the world of Kick boat fishing and competitive bass angling , i was quickly hooked. I want to thank everyone who participated this year , there was not one person I met this year who wasn't helpful or willing to give me advice. This Club is full of great guy's. I look forward to next year.



Disco Report:

I had plans of rowing out to the channel first thing but as soon as Taylor dropped the green flag I decided to row fifty yards and fished the the little rip rap wall up to the boat docks with a spook , when I hit the little channel in between the wall and the beginning of the boat docks i had my first blow up ( 20 minutes in). Third cast back in there hooked my first 3lb'er . couldn't get a bite there after that. I rowed out heading to the channel and half way there I couldn't stand it and I stopped at the point of the second key . There was a nice opening in between to houses and the water was glass. I threw the spook in there and immediately got hit but came off . Next cast another blow up . third cast I had my second big fish kill the spook. I stayed there for probably three hours and netted 3 fish after completely fishing that place out i moved back toward the launch ramp but on the key side. I stopped at the point of the first key across from the launch ramp and started fishing the jig and drop shot. A few shorty's on the drop shot then few hours of no bites. I worked along the docks just as it rounds the corner. tried some more topwater for nothing some drop shot. Then the 1/2 ounce delta perch gets tossed out to the back side of the dock , slammed on the fall and pulling hard. got it to the boat and that was my biggest of the day and filled my limit. 20 minutes later my biggest is upside down in the live well with 2 hours left. After hearing something similar from Mitch I had put a nylon stringer cord in my tackle bag so i took the big guy out looped the stringer through the culling hook and let him swim around for probably 20 min. threw him back in and he stayed straight , fished back towards our launch for no more bites. Wrapped up fishing in front of our launch for the last hour , never culled.
