We have one of the best fishing lakes in the Mother Lode. Some call it the "best secret fishing spot". We have a Florida strain Largemouth Bass (catch and release) Crappie, Red Ear Perch, Bluegill and Catfish (Limited take).
Too maintain the health of the fish we DO NOT allow Live Bait fishing.

And I found this on another site...
Salt springs reservour is located one hour east of Stockton Ca, take hwy 4 to copperoplis and follow the signs.

This is a small reservoir filled with vegetation and structure. Largemouth Bass can be caught in numbers here with the average bass going 2-3lbs.

A great lake to get away from big lake traffic. This lake does have jet skiers, but they are confined to one area of the lake.
