Well I’m looking ahead to the dates given and right up and honest with you and myself. I don’t think I’ll be able to go. I see my financials at this time to be at an all time low due to Xmas and rent being due on the 1st. (Sigh)
But I’ll tell you what = I been trying to get together some tubers to go down the Feather River in September. Is it Labor Day or some kind of holiday in early September? If we plan early we can take a week off to journey down stream and hook up into California’s secrete of Small mouth and Steelhead/Salmon fisheries. I’ve been told by a biologist has spent twenty sum years up and down the river shocking and working the river. I quote “This river holds record small mouth, I’ve shocked numerous in the eight to ten pound range.” This guy also mentioned that there are sloughs off the river that fish have never seen a lure. Hugh large mouth bass along with other species untapped through out its river system.
Will talk as the time gets closer but I wanted to share this with you and the others of the forum. Perhaps we can make the best of it on this on coming year.
