This rod is a 9.9 out of 10 only because it's not new. I have this model and the CR662, both are matched with Scorpion 1000MGs. I used this outfit to throw Pointer 65's and other small jerkbaits. The MSRP for this rod is $210, I'll take $125 OBO. Prefer to sell it locally (San Diego), but will ship with buyer to pay shipping.

Designed for fishing smaller baits and lead-head jigs in clear-water rivers and lakes where a shorter rod is beneficial for both accuracy and lure presentation. It's also a nice small stream rod, where smaller lures are essential for success and those medium-size fish can put a decent bend in your rod. While the IMX graphite certainly makes this rod light and sensitive, accuracy and control may be its most dynamic advantage.
