This is our original flipping stick, and it's an amazingly versatile rod considering the blank size and stiffness. The tip of this model is slightly softer than the other FSRs, making it flexible enough to cast Carolina rigs or jigs. Anglers also use it with great success slow rolling oversize spinnerbaits, pitching jigs, and muscling largemouths out of deep-water weedbeds. Muskie fishermen use it for big bucktail spinners. Salmon anglers backbounce bait with it. And the saltwater crowd even uses it for tarpon and large snook. All in all, it's an excellent fishing tool; its only limit may be the lack of time you have to chase after all those different species.
