#1033, "Phenix Big Bait Special"

I have a Phenix 8' Big Bait Special that I throw swimbaits on. I was wondering if anyone knows what blank this rod is made from. It looks like it may be a calstar blank and has a little heavier action than a Lami big Bait Special.
I read Big Bass Zone and the Tiger Tubes kind of interested me. Anyone used these?

Dylan
