I have tried braid, sevenstrand, with the treble, single hook and just cant get a good combinations. THe bait just doesn't run well with the hook back there. any Ideas?

ps. sorry Mark, I had to ask.. damn spots...

Way I see it, any fish that I need a stinger right on the tail to catch likely is a fish I dont want to catch. Ive also found the closer you get the stinger to the tail, the more times your hook gets fouled in the tail which obviously ruins the cast and maybe the spot.
