#2695, "Upcoming Boating and Fishing Show in San Diego"

October 30th and 31st, from 10 am to 4 pm!
Are you ready? The Aim Marine Fishing and Boating Jamboree is coming! Formerly known as the Aim Marine Open House, we've upped the ante this time around. This year's event is bigger and better than ever, with events to keep you entertained the entire weekend. The Jamboree will feature the biggest names in bass fishing and boating. Special guests this year include 2002 BASS Masters Classic Champ, Jay Yelas, and Triton Pro Shaw Grigsby. Mark Kile, the 2003 BASS Tour Rookie of the Year will be here. Charlie Weyer, winner of the BASS tour event on Lake Smith in Alabama this year will be there. These guys all wanted to show up, they expressed the interest to be a part of this, and they're excited to be coming out and speaking. There will also be numerous local guys around mingling and talking, answering questions and speaking on the tank.

Also on hand will be Skeeter's Interactive trailer...this thing is cool. Its got a fishing simulator and all sorts of cool stuff on it, lots of fun for anyone.

Looking for good deals on the newest and hottest bass tackle? We'll have it, with exhibitors coming from around the globe to be on hand at the event. We'll be debuting Shimano's new Crucial series rods, as well as their new line of Chronarch baitcasters. Also being unveiled is our three new Roboworm colors...designed for the local lakes.

There will literally be hundreds of chances to win free stuff, with numerous raffles and prizes. Every $10 you spend over the course of the weekend will earn you a raffle ticket, each manufacturer will be having their own raffles, so you'll have the opportunity to pick and choose which raffles you want to use your tickets in. The design of this raffle system is going to make it one of the best raffles you've ever participated in. The exhibitors will be competing against eachother to get the most tickets in their jar, so they're going to be putting out top-notch prizes.

We'll even have the bass in attendance as well, with our 35 foot long bass tank that brings the world's best critics to the stage...the fish. Seminars will be given on the tank all weekend long, with new products being field tested right before your eyes. Want to see a specific bait in the tank the way the bass see it? The pros will be playing with baits in the tank in between seminars, so there will be action there the entire time.

There will be a casting/pitching competition, with prizes given to the winners and of course, bragging rights for being the top caster/flipper/pitcher in So. Cal.

Its free admission, everyone is welcome. We'll also be doing demo-rides at San Vicente for people interested in checking out our boats.

Come on out! Check out www.aimmarine.com/jamboree for more info.

Also, Saturday night (the 30th) we will be having our annual night tournament at San Vicente. Its been an invitational event the last couple years, but this year we're opening it up to the first 80 boats who sign up. I'll begin taking entries next week, and you can email me at kellis@aimmarine.com to get the info you need to sign-up.
