I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to contact the makers of Big Hammers. I just moved to Eureka from S.B. and NOBODY sells them up here - nobody has even heard of them. In fact, the only kind of plastics available up hereare old school split tail scampis made with cruddy stiff plastic. This sucks because whenever I paddle out, the big hammers (and fishtraps to a lesser extent) just KILL the fish.
Anyways, since I always see posts about them at this site, I hoped someone could point me towards where to go. Also, if they need a distributor or rep in this area, I would be happy to do that for them just so I wont have to make trips down to San Francisco (250 miles each way) or have my friends mail them to me.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
my email address is funkdubious@hotmail.com

There is a big hammer website out there somewhere, it's a weird address, I forget what it is, I think Rob knows it. You can order big hammers from bigfishtackle.com I believe. Look around on some other online tackle shops. If I come across any online, I'll let you know. You can always order them from a tackle store if you can get their phone number, or website, I'm sure most of them would be happy to mail you some.

Here is the bighammer site
http://fishcomfg.com/bighammer.html
there is a link to email them at the bottom of the page.
I know what it's like not being able to get good plastics. I live in Fremont and there is nowhere that I have found that has any selection. Coyote bait and tackle had a few fish traps and that's all I've seen so far.

Even though they only list the 4 inch baits, Big Fish Tackle can order any type of Big Hammer lure you want. I had them order a batch of 6 inch Rainbow Trouts for seabass a few months ago. My contact was Milo (milo@bigfishtackle.com).
