sometimes ebay has them or if your in a major area of cali like san diego, san fran ,l.a. etc you can buy a boat traider magazine which are usually full of them. also i'm told www.craigslist.com may have a deal occasionally.

craigs list western bass classifieds calfishing classifieds your local newspaper. Having bought way too many boats here is my advice to you look around for exactly what you want there are plenty of boats out there and people are willing to let them go at reasonable prices so look around.

Check with the marina shops at your local lakes. They replace their boats every so often and usually sell the old boats. The last time I was at Dixon, they had a bunch of boats on the shore that were being touched up for sale by the city of Escondido.

How about a 12'or 14' hard-sided boat that you can fold up to 4" flat and put on top of your car for transport. Take a look at one at www.porta-bote.com The 12 footer only weighs about 70 pounds and will take up to a 6 hp four stroke motor that'll move it along about 18 mph. There's a forum of porta-bote owners at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PortaBote and they discuss how they've modified their "botes" to include mounts for fishfinders, rod holders, trolling motors, etc.

Thank you everyone who helped. I found an awsome boat at
WWW.KLINDUSTRIES.COM It is called the Pro 120 Fishing Boat. I sent an email for a dealer in the Sacaremnto area but have not heard back. I will order one direct if I have to. Thanks again.

I live in Sacramento. For just the boat I would be around $1,000 to $1,500.

I live in Sac and I believe they sell those boats at Sports Mart. That is a lot of money for a plastic boat with not trailer. Granted it is new but you could find better deals out there. Here are som deals I found in the Sac. Bee

ALUMINUM 12 FT BOAT w/trailer, Gamefisher 7.5 motor. $500 obo. 916-988-8405.

ALUMINUM 14'Klamath 1984, 15HP, Evinrude, 2 stroke, $1600 obo. 916- 961-6227

ALUMN Valco 12ft, 9.5hp Johnson trolling motor, swivel seats, good cond. $1200. 916-502-6231

BOSTON Whaler, 11'4", 18HP Evinrude, electric start, remote control, trailer $1500 916-966-9738

GREGOR 12' 9.5 hp Johnson Galvanized trailer, $1,100 obo (916) 984-9437

PORT-A-BOTE 1990, 12ft, 6 HP Evinrude, Bimini, oars, RV mounting Rk, $685. 916- 395-7115

Just look around you can find what you are looking for. I bought a older bass boat for 2 grand and it works great

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

Go to www.fishsniffer.com and then go into their boats for sale forum if you want a used boat. I've had great success in there as there is a great deal of traffic. Good luck!
