Hi guys,
I want to buy a Baby Wake. I just don't know what color to get, Bass or Shad.

I will be fishing Lake Casitas, Cachuma, Castaic and probably Shaver. I know all have Shad but I don't know about Shaver.

I have a Wake Jr in Rainbow already. I just feel I need a smaller bait for Cachuma.
Which of the 2 color patterns would you choose?

oh, i also feel the 6" baby will be right for the smallies at Cachuma and Shaver, but what do I know :+

I have always have thought if you were gonna just get one pattern go with baby bass.
You are fishing for bass, so there are always going to be baby bass! There are not always shad in the water however (although the color scheme is generic enough for that not to matter much IMO).

yea more and more i feel like color is definitely more of a angler's confidence booster more than a fish catcher, but i still like to match forage in the water when I can. But light belly dark back etc yea.
The baby wake in bass I have has caught numerous bass in the frigid NW so I'm sure it'll work out for you.
